Exploring Wat Mae Tao in Mae Sot

It's not just Chiang Rai that has a White Temple. Mae Sot in Tak Province also has a White Temple, and the best part is that it's usually empty, allowing you to enjoy the entire temple by yourself. When I visited in August, it was still under construction, but most of it was already completed. There's no entrance fee, and you can choose to donate as you wish. This is the proper way to experience a temple—peaceful and serene. The dogs in the temple are very friendly and cute. There's also a small park nearby where you can take a walk and feed the fish.
