Redang Island in Malaysia is a beautiful destination, but be prepared for limited internet access. The entire island only has 4G network coverage, which can be quite challenging. If you're buying a SIM card, avoid Celcom as it struggles with even sending pictures. Opt for Hotlink instead, which handles photos and videos better, albeit slowly. If you have a diving certificate but can't swim, snorkeling might be riskier than discover diving. Thankfully, my sea taxi driver saved me during a difficult moment, towing me for quite a while. Additionally, if you're worried about mosquito bites, bring a good repellent. I bought the 'Off' brand in Kuala Lumpur, which offers six hours of protection.
