A SCENIC RIVER STROLL YOU CAN'T MISS, HALF DAY ITINERARY IN MAO COUNTY, SICHUAN

#favouriteitinerary We spent a relaxing 2 day, 1 night in Mao County, making it our stopover before heading to Lixian for the Bipenggou visit. After a hearty breakfast around 9am, we set off to explore the central town and found a large bridge crossing over a gorgeous blue turquoise river. Right next to it, there’s a lovely garden, where we discovered a trail that led us down a staircase to the river. The walking path alongside the river stretched nearly 2km one way, making for a scenic 4km loop. We soaked in the stunning views, enjoying the strong sound of the water rippling by. Afterwards, we wandered back to the garden for a leisurely stroll to wrap up our morning.
