Mashan County Lingyang Temple

Driving from Guigang National Highway to Dahua, passing through Mashan County in Nanning City, looking out from the car, you can see a majestic building complex embedded in the steep mountainside by the roadside from a distance. It shines brightly under the sunlight, making it particularly eye-catching. So, I parked the car and went to take a look. Only when I got closer did I realize that this building, built on the cliff halfway up the mountain, was the magnificent Lingyang Temple. On the cliff, the two large characters 'Buddha Heart' are vigorous and powerful. Lingyang Temple is different from other temples. Apart from being built on the steep cliff halfway up the mountain, the most attractive feature is that it is a large-scale lava cave temple. The main hall of the temple is set in a cave on Qiandeng Mountain, which is said to be the largest lava cave temple in Guangxi.
