[Shimane, Matsue] Take a break in a town where tea ceremony culture lives on

There is a teahouse called "Meimeian" near Matsue Castle in Shimane. I visited it on my solo trip to Matsue. Follow the sign and climb the hill to reach the teahouse. It is located on a hill overlooking Matsue Castle, and has a quiet and dignified atmosphere. After paying the 410 yen admission fee at the entrance, I first strolled through the garden. Then, in the teahouse overlooking the garden, I had matcha green tea and Japanese sweets. The small cut sweets had a strange texture that was fluffy and moist.
