I finally reached the top of Qiangyue Mountain, my trip was a complete success [DAY3] Gundake hut - Gundake summit - Gundake hut - Tenguhara divergence - Gunzawa exit - Yokoo Sanso - Tokusawa - Myojinkan. On the third day, we hiked a total of 18 kilometers, descended 1,500 meters, and took 8 hours. If you stay in Datongpu, you have to accept being woken up early. Of course, breakfast starts at 6 o'clock, so you won't have breakfast if you wake up late. I rented a helmet and climbed to the summit with light equipment. Pulling on the chain and shaking the rope all the way, I finally climbed to the top of the mountain. It was a sunny day and I finally fulfilled my wish of not climbing to the top 5 years ago. It was very windy at the top of the mountain, so we stopped for a while to take photos and then descended. Today’s mission is also to descend the whole way, all the way to the bottom of the valley. From Gundake Hut to Gunzekou, it is almost all a rocky slope. The first half of the slope is quite steep, so be sure to tighten your hiking shoes and be careful not to sprain your feet. Although this year's maple leaf season has come late, the top section is still very beautiful. Looking back at Gundake, the sharpness soaring into the sky cannot be understood by looking at photos on the Internet. There is a reason why this mountain is so loved by the Japanese. The road gradually becomes smoother after Gunizawaguchi and enters the forest. After Yokoo Villa, all the way to Kamikochi, there are 10 kilometers of flat road. In addition to exercising your patience, the only thing left is to exercise your feet. I chose to stay at Myojinkan that day, which is still 3 kilometers away from Kamikochi. I avoided the high housing prices in Kamikochi and had a good sleep. I could also watch Myojin Pond the next morning and then walk to Kamikochi at leisure. The happiest thing is that today I can finally take a shower and take a bath!
