A waterfall to the lakes

The Lake District’s second biggest lake, Ullswater is full of surprises from taking a paddle steamer across it to a hike up the imposing Hellvellyn. If you’re looking for an easier walk than the above mentioned or are short on time an easy hike to the Aira Force waterfall may be the answer. Starting in the village of Glenridding at raking the flat trail to the start of the falls you are then faced with a short climb until you reach your destination. The falls themselves are spectacular after heavy rain, which is very common in the area and are best viewed from the bridge that crosses over the stream below. #waterfall #lakedistrict #voyagevibes
