Highly recommend Meihekou Hailong Lake, the Jiangnan and Sanya of the Northeast

Hailong Lake is truly a place where you can spend an entire day. No entrance fee, free parking at the entrance. I have to say, parking in Meihekou is really commendable, all parking spaces are free. Entering the main gate of the scenic area, there are several fountains where many children play in the water, which is very clean. A little further in, turning right, there is a bathing area, 5 yuan per person, with a beach inside. Sunshades and chairs are free, tents and canopies are 68 yuan per day, very reasonable. You can swim, boat, enjoy water inflatables, and foam pools. There are plenty of activities, and kids can play all day without any problem. If you go left after entering the scenic area, you can walk around the lake. You can take a boat to the island in the middle of the lake. Walking and playing around the lake takes about two hours, with small photo spots along the way. Deep in the scenic area, there is a special camping area with tent houses. The entire area is very clean, even the restrooms are spotless. Walking through the whole place leaves you in a good mood.
