### A one-day solo hike in the Yunlin-Chiayi Five Peaks In the morning, I drove to Meishan in Chiayi to hike in the Yunlin-Chiayi Five Peaks. Although the 36 bends along the way made me a little dizzy, as the altitude continued to rise, the air became better and better, the houses in the city became smaller and smaller, and I was getting closer and closer to the clouds. Arrive at "Sanyuan Temple" and park your car, then get ready and head to the trailhead on the nearby industrial road. The fresh air and beautiful scenery made me instantly forget the fatigue of driving early in the morning. When I arrived at the observation deck, I was amazed by the sea of ​​clouds in front of me. The clouds seemed to roll under my feet. This is a mysterious fairyland, a favorite hiking route for climbers, both friendly and beautiful. The original route is a 12-kilometer round-trip hiking journey. The initial steep steps are a challenge for novices. As I have just recovered from a serious injury to my feet, I need to stop from time to time to rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery around me. I often look back at the road I came from, and every few minutes I see the changes in the clouds, which is really healing. On the way, I picked up a few mountaintops, "Taiping Mountain", "Lizijiao Mountain", "Ma'anshan", "Erjian Mountain", and "Dajian Mountain". On the way to Dajianshan, there is a famous local chicken restaurant. The aroma of the delicious food is so strong that even on weekdays, there are always diners here. I couldn’t help but stop and enjoy the specialties. It also replenished my energy for the next journey. After that, I chose a viewing platform and decided to make a cup of coffee, sit down and quietly enjoy this moment of tranquility. Even in the thick fog, sipping the fragrant coffee and listening to the sounds of nature, I felt an indescribable comfort in my heart. However, hiking is not just about pleasure. There are also many steep downhills along the way. Experienced cross-country runners seem to be in their element, moving through the mountains with ease, passing me one by one. Although the Yunjia Five Peaks itinerary is a bit challenging for novices, it is definitely a feast for nature. The magnificent tea garden terraces and the random changes in every scene are the biggest gains of my trip. I look forward to climbing here again next time to greet more sea of ​​clouds and challenges!
