The exquisite Dai folk gold-water murals and gold-painted paintings on the walls inside the temple are precious physical materials for studying the history, culture, religion, and beliefs of the Dai people. During the Tusi Period, the Zhongcheng Buddhist Temple was a Buddhist temple exclusively used by officials living in Zhongcheng in Nayun Ancient City. It was built in 1272 of the Dai calendar (1910). It is a Theravada Buddhist temple spread to the south. The building complex consists of a gate, a Buddhist hall, a corridor, an octagonal pavilion, and an office of the Buddhist Association. The main building, the Buddhist hall, is a raised-beam style triple-eaves resting-top corridor building with 6 rows of 24 inner columns. , fangs, beams, eaves, and citrons all have gold-painted patterns.
