A must-visit in 2025, the awe-inspiring Shengshui Temple!

Shengshui Temple is located at No. 357, North Section of Changhong Avenue, Fucheng District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It is a free attraction worth visiting. The temple thoughtfully provides free incense, allowing believers and tourists to pray sincerely. Please note that due to the large number of people during holidays, it is recommended not to drive to avoid traffic congestion and parking inconvenience. If you need to drive, you can park your car at the nearby Luohan Temple. However, when walking to Shengshui Temple, avoid taking the steep stairs, as they can be quite tiring. The history of Shengshui Temple can be traced back to the Guangming period of the Tang Dynasty (880 AD), when it was originally called Ganquan Temple. In the first year of the Ming Dynasty (1436), it was renamed Shengshui Temple. With a history of over 1,300 years, it is one of the ancient temples in northwest Sichuan with a long history. The temple is built on a mountain, with a wide terrain and a well-arranged architectural layout. Along the central axis from bottom to top, there are main halls such as the Hall of Heavenly Kings, Guanyin Hall, Great Compassion Hall, Weituo Hall, and Mahavira Hall. On both sides, there are also buildings such as the Jade Buddha Hall, Dizang Hall, Shizu Hall, Guanyin Pavilion, Wuguan Hall, Garan Hall, and Bell and Drum Tower, forming a magnificent architectural complex. Each hall carries profound historical and cultural connotations, waiting for visitors to explore and appreciate.
