[Hiroshima] Surprisingly, there are international flights too! Hiroshima Airport, a regional airport on top of a mountain

#0yentravel I have used Hiroshima Airport many times. Flights to Tokyo, Sapporo, Naha, Sendai, China, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, etc. Perhaps because it is located in the mountains, it is quiet when you arrive at the airport, and the surrounding scenery is tranquil and relaxing. The terminal is compact, but has all the necessary facilities, and it is easy to find souvenirs unique to Hiroshima, making it convenient for shopping before boarding. When I went out to the observation deck, I could see the runway and watch the planes take off and land up close. In particular, the sight of the planes taking off with the distant mountains in the background was impressive, and I felt a bit of a travelling spirit. The downside is that it is a little inconvenient to access, but it seems like time flows more slowly, so it is one of my favorite airports.
