#japantrip Tips and things to know if you're planning to visit the Studio Ghibli Exhibit at the Yokosuka Museum Of Art. 👀 1. Connect to the museum wifi, Yokosuka MOA, (password is 12345678) right away and check with the staff as you enter that you can use your phone to translate the signs and displays. The staff told me this would be alright when I asked. Otherwise there is no English brochure or audio tour to explain what you are observing. 2. Most places do not allow pictures. These areas are well marked to let you know if pictures are or aren't allowed. 3. Put your name on the restaurant waiting list ahead of time if there is a long line and you plan to eat there. 5. Your Studio Ghibli Exhibit tickets are only for that exhibit, not the Giant Robot exhibit or any of the other museum exhibits. 6. 🚗 Bring your parking ticket into the museum to have it validated by the museum staff, you will receive one free hour of parking. 7. Once you go through the exhibit, you'll reach the spot to receive a fortune (from the large witch's head!) and then the Ghibli store, then you're done! 8. There were a lot of people in the exhibit when we went. I would not recommend bringing a stroller (they may not be allowed). I also wouldn't say this is young children friendly as it's not very interactive.
