Review on Musée Océanographique, Monaco (Should or should not visit?)

🏛️ Established in the 20th century, it is one of the world’s oldest ocean museums. 📖 King Albert I, who had a passion for the ocean and dedicated himself to exploring its mysteries, founded the Oceanographic Institute in 1906, named after himself. 💰 Ticket: €19 (Winter 2025) Further info: Check on their official website Museum Layout: -2 floor: Entirely an aquarium. -1 floor: Temporarily closed to the public. 1st floor: History exhibits and specimen displays. 2nd floor: Restaurant and children’s playground. Recommendation: If you have kids, it’s a nice place to visit. However, if you’re not particularly interested in marine life, you might not find it worth the price. Personally, I don’t think it’s that special, and the ticket price isn’t justified 😂 For those interested in history, it’s better to read about it online. #monaco #MuséeOcéanographique #muséeocéanographique

#celebratewithtrip #monaco #montecarlo #museum Visit the Oceanographic Museum At the end of the Saint Martin Gardens you will be able to see the Oceanographic Museum. From what we read, this is very similar to SEA LIFE London Aquarium and we didn’t feel like visiting on this occasion. If you haven’t been to a place like this before or if you are visiting Monaco with kids, then the Oceanographic Museum might just be the right thing for you. The Oceanographic Museum is a museum of marine sciences in Monaco-Ville, Monaco. This building is part of the Institut océanographique, which is committed to sharing its knowledge of the oceans.
