Great experience at Mt Hutt Ski Resort!

Situated at Methven, with the nearest town at Christchurch, Mt Hutt Ski Resort offers a full alpine experience with incredible views of the Canterbury Plains. You can choose to self drive your way up to the resort if your car is equipped with right snow chain equipment, but if you’re not like me, there is a shuttle bus from Methven to bring visitors up. As it’s my first time doing snowboarding and skiing, we sign up for a one day crash course to learn the basics. And indeed it’s a whole day of “crashing our butt” on the snowy floor 😂 Jokes aside, the instructors were super friendly and helpful, and I’ve definitely learnt a lot during the lessons! Overall it was a really fun experience and even for those who doesn’t want to engage in the snow activities, I would still recommend anyone who is interested in playing or watching “snow” to visit the place! #unforgettableexperiences #scenicspotguide #skiing #nyedestinations #wintergetaway
