The reason why Kwan brought it to me is because it's on the same road as the Chrysanthemum Festival in EP.2. When driving in, you'll see signs all along the way saying that there's the first lavender field in Thailand, so Kwan took the opportunity to stop by and take a look. The dazzling purple flowers. At first, I wondered if Thailand could grow lavender? :( I was a bit curious. When I asked the older sister at the cafe, she gave me some information that the lavender here is the Spanish Eyes variety, imported from Spain. The seeds were taken to be planted on some mountain (I forgot) in Chiang Mai. When the seedlings grew, they were planted in the garden, which also has a field of bright pink cosmos. The pink contrasting with the purple is great, Mom. 😊 Lavender flowers start blooming from the beginning of February until March. So!! For those who have the opportunity, I would like to recommend everyone to try it. The first impression I got was that I really liked it. The smell was refreshing. And another thing I would like to recommend is the cafe here. If you don't go in, you'll miss out.
