In fact, I couldn't make a gondola reservation at the time I wanted, so I went to Namdeokyusan thinking, "Why bother hiking?" But it turned out that Namdeokyusan was the mountain with the prettiest snow flowers. Unfortunately, the day I went was warm, so I couldn't see many snow flowers, but it was still pretty.🫶🏻 ✔️In winter, you can enter the mountain until 13:00, and there are no restrooms except at the beginning of the hike, so you should go to the restroom beforehand. Since I'm a beginner hiker, I started climbing early in the morning. The beginning of the hike was a relatively easy course with gentle stone steps and steep, long stairs. I climbed up to Yeonggakjae without wearing crampons, but from Yeonggakjae, the path was frozen and there were many slippery sections, so it was better to wear crampons. And from here on, the course gets tougher, so you have to be determined! However, after finishing the tough course, you will be amazed by the scenery that unfolds before your eyes, and you will forget the hardship.
