🌸 A Dreamy June Morning at Kyoto’s Hydrangea Wonderland — Yanagidani Kannon & Yanggu Temple 🌿✨

#springitinerary I just had the most magical hydrangea experience at Yanagidani Kannon and Yanggu Temple in Kyoto! 🌿💜 The whole place was bursting with fresh green vibes and endless shades of purple, pink, and blue flowers — seriously, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. The event runs all June, and I was there soaking up the serene morning air. The temple opens from 9 AM to 5 PM, and you can even explore the Upper Study Hall if you want (just make sure to get the special ticket). One of my favorite parts? The 300-meter-long hydrangea corridor! Walking through it was like strolling inside a dreamy floral tunnel, surrounded on both sides by these gorgeous, vibrant blooms. I must have taken a hundred photos because every angle looked better than the last. 🌸📸 Getting there was pretty easy too — I took the train to Nagaoka Tenjin Station, then grabbed a quick taxi ride up the hill. Just a heads up: ride apps like Uber don’t work well on the way back down, so I called a local taxi company to book a ride — worked like a charm. And oh — don’t miss out on the limited-edition hydrangea goshuin (temple stamps) they offer during this time. I grabbed mine as a beautiful souvenir of the day!
