My Family Fun Day at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya! 🦒🐨

#summervacay I recently had an amazing time at the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya with my family! This place is fantastic, offering a variety of facilities including a botanical garden, zoo, amusement park, and a sky tower. They also do a great job with educational exhibits. The entrance fee is incredibly affordable! It was only 500 yen for admission, and we added the sky tower combo ticket for a total of just 640 yen, which is about 32 RMB. You don't need to make reservations either, which is super convenient. The zoo is huge, and they say it takes about five hours to explore everything. My almost four-year-old didn't quite have the stamina, so I was really glad we brought a stroller! We also took some fun sticker photos for an extra 600 yen. From what I gathered, about two-thirds of the park is dedicated to the zoo, and one-third to the botanical garden. They have a great variety of animals, including koalas, giraffes, raccoons, Asian elephants, hippos, and gorillas. You can find this wonderful park at 3-70 Higashiyama Motomachi, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya City. It's definitely a highlight for any family visiting Nagoya! #nagoyatravel
