🛍️ Snack, Sip & Shop at Okashigoten Kokusai Street Matsuo!

While exploring Kokusai Street, we dropped by Okashigoten Matsuo Branch—and I must say, it’s a fantastic one-stop spot for local Okinawan souvenirs. Rows and rows of beautifully packaged local snacks lined the shelves. From sweet potato tarts to black sugar cookies, there was no shortage of goodies to bring back home. What I liked most was that you could actually sample many of the items before buying—definitely a plus when you’re unsure what to choose! There’s a small factory located at the back of the shop, so the snacks are incredibly fresh. While the rest of the family was on a shopping spree, I took a short break at the in-house café. Many of the shop’s popular snacks were available to enjoy right there, paired with drinks. I ordered a small selection of pastries and had them with a cup of coffee. It was a peaceful and delicious moment in the midst of our busy itinerary. If you’re in Naha and looking for a comfortable spot to shop, snack, and relax—this place checks all the boxes.
