Hakodate Climbing Bus, bus stop number 4 (bus stop on the left after exiting Hakodate Station) Instead of using the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway, take the bus that goes from Hakodate Station to the summit for a limited time. It's cheap at 500 yen one way, and you can use an IC card. No reservation is required, so it's easy to use. I recommend sitting on the right on the way there and the left on the way back. They drive with the interior darkened, they guide you while driving, and they even stop at the view points. ② Goryokaku Tower Buy tickets at the 7-Eleven near the Jujigai bus stop. You can purchase them for 900 yen instead of 1000 yen. It's 100 yen cheaper, and there's quite a line at the tower counter, so it's better to buy a ticket in advance. You can buy it at most convenience stores on the day. There is a large souvenir shop on the first floor. ③Hachimanzaka The sunlight filtering through the trees is very beautiful.
