Ban Dong Yai Temple

The bell tower of Wat Ban Dong Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province It is a 3-storey Roman style building. The roof has a Buddha statue in the meditation posture in the middle. Under the base is a large drum tower. On the right and left of the Buddha statue, there are statues of Indra and Brahma sitting with their hands together in worship on the bell tower. The drum tower and bell tower have 8 pillars molded into the shape of angels, standing on inverted lotus and upright lotus. In front is a statue of Nang Suchada sitting and worshiping the Buddha statue. The design of the building came from the idea of ​​Phra Athikarn Chamnan Atthakamo, the abbot of Wat Ban Dong Yai, who said that the bell tower was built since 2010. The design was based on ideas and imagination. Part of the building's design was adapted from Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall and combined according to his imagination. The building is 23 meters long and 8 meters wide, with 3 floors in total.
