Kouri Island's Heart-shaped Rock

Kouri Island's heart-shaped rock is very popular, and many people have probably visited it. However, there are also hidden heart-shaped rocks on Okinawa's remote islands, such as Miyako Island. One is located on Ikema Island, which is connected to Miyako Island by a bridge. This place is a filming location for Japanese dramas and is also known as the 'Lovers' Sanctuary' at Ikizu Beach. During low tide, the naturally formed heart-shaped rock with the backdrop of the Miyako blue sea is a must-see. Another heart-shaped rock can be found at the tourist attraction 'Ueno German Culture Village' on the island. Although you can't get up close to it, there are several beautiful trails in the park where you can overlook this heart-shaped rock in the sea.
