Phumin Temple, Nan

Wat Phumin is located in Mueang Nan District, Nan Province. It is an important temple and a famous tourist attraction in Nan Province. Its important characteristic is that the chapel and the temple are built as a single building. It is outstanding in terms of architecture, with a quadrangular shape. In front of the northern entrance of the chapel, there are Naga statues on both sides of the stairs. Their bodies extend to support the chapel and the temple, similar to supporting them with their backs. The middle of the Naga stairs has curved openings on both sides. It is believed that if lovers pass through it clockwise three times, their wishes will come true. It is also believed that if outsiders pass through it, they will return to visit Nan again. #Nan
