Nanchang Family Trip Accommodation Guide—Tried and Tested!

I did a lot of research before bringing my family to Nanchang, and finally chose this hidden gem located in the provincial government compound: Nanchang Jingxi Hotel (Bayi Square Art Museum Branch)! It turned out to be a perfect choice! 💯 [Amazing Location] Turn left out of the hotel and you'll find yourself at Bayi Square! A 5-minute walk takes you to the Monument, super convenient for taking kids to learn about the revolutionary history. Across an underpass is the Wushang Mall, a one-stop shop for dining and shopping! The subway station is a 10-minute walk away. Wanda Plaza and Jiangxi Art Museum are also nearby, making it easy to take the kids to exhibitions and shopping malls! 🏨[Accommodation Experience] Although it's an established four-star hotel, it's very well-maintained! The mattresses are just the right firmness, and the soundproofing is excellent. I couldn't hear any traffic noise at night. The bathroom has great hot water pressure, perfect for a relaxing shower in winter! The best surprise was that the receptionist kindly upgraded us to a suite and provided extra slippers and toothbrushes for the kids. The attention to detail was fantastic! 🚗[Car-Friendly] There's free parking in the back. Just scan the code to exit when you leave! Note that there are no charging stations at Wushang Mall, but you can charge your electric car at the hotel. 🍜[Nearby Food Recommendations] Dashiyuan Snack Street is just a few minutes' walk downstairs! Start your day like a Nanchang local with a 3-yuan bowl of Nanchang mixed rice noodles and a 4-yuan bowl of meat pie soup. I highly recommend the white sugar cake and shuizhu (boiled dumplings). Local recommendations never disappoint! In the evening, you can also go to Hama Street for late-night snacks. You can eat your fill for about 30 yuan per person! 🎨[Fun Places for Kids] The Jiangxi Art Museum is just across from Bayi Square. It's free to enter and perfect for a visit! I recommend going to the Tengwang Pavilion in the evening to enjoy both the sunset and the night view. You can even get free admission if you recite the "Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion"! 💡[Tips] 1️⃣ Breakfast is on the second floor. Don't forget to try the Nanchang-style fried rice noodles. 2️⃣ The nearest subway station is Bayi Square Station, about 800 meters from the hotel. This Nanchang trip was extra enjoyable thanks to the great hotel! I'm planning to revisit the Tengwang Pavilion and enjoy the Gan River night cruise. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
