This is probably the only passenger ferry left on the Nanchang section of the Ganjiang River.

This ferry runs between Shicha Ferry Terminal in Nanchang County and Tongtian Township in Fengcheng City. This ferry terminal has been prosperous for thousands of years. In the past, merchants gathered here, but now only residents on both sides of the river take the ferry. There are still many old buildings on Shicha Ancient Street, many of which are already crumbling under the erosion of time. Walking here seems to take you back to the old days. The ferry ride here costs CNY 5 per person, and an additional CNY 2 for an electric bike. As more and more cross-river passages are built in Nanchang, maybe a bridge will be built here in the future. I don't know how long the ferry will last here. I hope that even if a bridge is built here in the future, the ferry will still be preserved.
