A Spring Trip to Jinling: An Encounter with a Sea of Cherry Blossoms

Nanjing in Jinling during the spring is full of tenderness and romance. Be sure to visit Xuanwu Lake and Jiming Temple to admire the cherry blossoms and capture this limited-time beauty. Stepping into Xuanwu Lake, Yingzhou is like a dreamland. More than 600 Yoshino cherry trees extend along the lake shore. The breeze gently blows, and the petals rustle and fall, like a pink rain of flowers, falling on the lake, reflecting each other with the sparkling waves. Yingzhou Long Corridor is an excellent photo spot. You can look up and take pictures of the cherry blossoms and the classical corridor blending together. Every frame is beautiful. Around Fang Bridge, the ancient bridge spans the green water, and the cherry blossoms bloom wantonly on the bridge, outlining the limited spring scenery with the blue sky and green trees. Standing on the bridge or by the lake, you can take a blockbuster photo with a casual shot. Exit from the Jiefang Gate of Xuanwu Lake and walk for a while to reach Jiming Temple. The Cherry Blossom Avenue here is the top spring scenery in Nanjing. It is about 400m long, with more than 3,000 cherry trees lined on both sides. When the flowering period comes, the trees are full of flowers, and they look like floating clouds from a distance. The elegant Jiming Temple and the romantic cherry blossoms complement each other, forming a beautiful picture with red walls, black tiles, and pink cherry blossoms. In the morning, the sun shines on the petals, crystal clear; at night, the lights are on, covering the cherry blossoms with a dreamy veil, full of atmosphere. Under the Jiming Temple Archway, you can take a picture of the cherry blossoms and the full view of the ancient temple in the same frame. Opposite the Laoshanmen Road, you can capture the unique picture of the yellow wall and cherry blossoms. Climb the Nanjing City Wall and overlook the Cherry Blossom Avenue and Jiming Temple, where modern and ancient collide.
