I came for the helipad photo, but fell in love with the whole trip!

I was instantly smitten with the helipad photo of the Shangri-La Hotel in Nanjing! I took my husband and kids and off we went. I didn't expect that everything from the photos to the experience would be a surprise! 📍 The legendary cloud helipad I was drawn here by this helipad photo! Backed by the Zifeng Tower and the sparkling Xuanwu Lake, the sky is dyed orange in the evening. Every shot you take is an atmospheric masterpiece 📸 🍴 A gourmet feast for your taste buds The buffet restaurant has so many choices that you'll be spoiled for choice! Freshly opened oysters, sashimi platters, freshly fried steak... everything is super fresh. My child couldn't take their eyes off the dessert station with its wide variety of desserts 🍰 I especially recommend the signature dishes at Jiangnan Zao! Although I didn't have time to dine in, I've heard about the salty aroma of the salted duck and the crispy Squirrel Mandarin Fish. I'll definitely make a special trip to try them next time! 🛏️ An accommodation experience that will delight detail-oriented people The rooms are simple and elegant, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views! During the day, you can see Zijin Mountain in the distance, and at night, you can lie in bed and watch the city night view. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries smell luxurious. The three of us had a very comfortable stay! 👨👩👧 Facilities for the whole family to enjoy The heated swimming pool is clean and spacious, making it super relaxing to take a swim with the kids. The gym is well-equipped, and my husband was very satisfied with his morning workout! It's only a 5-minute walk to Xuanwu Lake, making it super convenient for the whole family to shop and eat. Back at the hotel, you can order a coffee at the lobby bar and take a break ☕️ I originally came for the rooftop photo, but I was completely conquered by the hotel's food, service, and experience! I'll be back to the Shangri-La Hotel in Nanjing next time!
