📍 Presidential Palace, Nanjing ✨ One of the must-visit landmarks in Nanjing is the Presidential Palace, which was once the political center during the late imperial era and the early Republic of China. The atmosphere is serene, surrounded by large trees and classic-style buildings that remain well-preserved. ✨ We spent about 2-3 hours exploring the area because it is quite expansive. Inside, there are offices, meeting rooms, and various functional spaces used by officials in the past. It felt like stepping back in time to witness the political transition period. My friend was especially excited to see Dr. Sun Yat-sen's office. ✨ What impressed us the most was the diverse exhibitions, including real buildings, photographs, historical documents, and models. These displays vividly illustrate the transition from the imperial system to the Republic of China, making history come alive. ✨ The palace also features a traditional Chinese garden where visitors can stroll around. It includes small pavilions, stone bridges, and ponds, offering a tranquil atmosphere. The photos taken here are stunning, especially during soft sunlight filtering through the leaves, creating beautifully dimensional images.
