Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum: A surprising stone statue that seems to be resurrected from 600 years of slumber

Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is a World Heritage Site built in 1381 as a mausoleum for the founder and empress of the Ming Dynasty, and is a famous plum blossom spot. I went there on February 5th, and although it was a little early for the plum blossoms, I still enjoyed it. On the way to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, I was overwhelmed by the stone statues of camels and elephants that were as tall as 3m. I was also surprised by the height of the walls of the tomb's "Fangcheng". I wonder how they managed to pile up all those stones. On the way back, I saw the foundation of the "Xiang Hall" and saw a crocodile? It was so impressive that it looked like it might crawl out of the stone. The sign next to it says that it is 600 years old, so please treat it with care. Access: From Muxuyuan Station on Subway Line 2 About a 3-minute walk to Park Gate 3 About an hour's walk in the park to the Ming Tower "Fangcheng" #WorldHeritage #Nanjing #MingXiaoling #StoneStatue
