If you happen to pass by Nantong, it is worth spending half a day exploring the city.

Nantong has always been a city that places great emphasis on education. As we've mentioned before, Nantong boasts numerous "firsts." It is home to China's first public museum, the Nantong Museum, which also laid the foundation for the country's museum industry. Unlike other museums, the "Yuan" in Nantong Museum's name indicates that it is not only a place for academic and artistic gatherings but also a garden for raising animals, planting forests, and enjoying flowers and scenery. This probably reflects the founder Zhang Jian's vision for the museum to be more than just a place for displaying cultural relics, but also a garden for people to appreciate, fostering an understanding of nature alongside cultural knowledge. Tickets: Free (parking is available in front of the Cultural and Creative Industrial Park) Visiting time: 2–3 hrs The entire Cultural and Creative Industrial Park is arranged by numbers, with each number representing a factory building. I didn't count them all, but there are probably around 50. This is truly a great place for taking photos, perfectly capturing a retro and cool vibe.
