Shimen Mountain is located between Nantou and Hualien. It is one of the 100 Peaks in Taiwan, numbered 70, with an altitude of 3,237 meters. The walking time is about one hour for beginners and about 30 minutes for experienced people. It is one of the easier 100 Peaks to climb. There are many bamboos along the trail, and of course the natural ecology is also very rich. Special reminder: If you come to climb in winter, remember to pay attention to whether it is snowing. This trail is prone to snow accumulation, so it is not recommended to go there if it is snowing.
