Deer in Nara Park!!

It stretches for about 4km east to west and 2km north to south. Covered by beautiful lawns and 1000-year-old pine trees, it is home to a herd of about 1,300 deer. The deer that live in Nara Park are wild animals designated as a national natural monument. They are not kept in captivity. As they are wild animals, they may sometimes attack. Please be especially careful if you have small children with you.
