It was magically snowing 🌨️ ❄️ ⛄️ when I was in Nara. Deers were everywhere! They even cross the roads! Such a native! I went on a day trip from Osaka to Nara via the Aoniyoshi Sightseeing Train (Limited Express by Kintetsu). 🚂 Aoniyoshi Sightseeing Train is Highly Recommended Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital, is a city rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. Known for its ancient temples, such as the iconic Tōdai-ji, home to the Great Buddha, and the serene Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Nara offers a glimpse into Japan’s past. The city is also famous for Nara Park, where friendly, free-roaming deer bow to visitors in exchange for treats. With stunning gardens, historic streets, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Nara is a must-visit destination for those seeking a blend of history, spirituality, and picturesque scenery.
