Authentic Ayurvedic experience 🇱🇰✨ Sri Lanka is the birthplace of Ayurvedic massage. I had a 3-hour spa experience at Jasmin Villa Ayurvedic Resort in Negombo! I was surprised that I could receive a treatment that would cost tens of thousands of yen in Japan for less than 5,000 yen...! The treatment was as follows: ・Full body oil massage ・20 minutes of warm oil on the forehead (this is Shiroveda) ・Sauna ・Open air bath ・Bath The oil contains a lot of spices and the scent is a bit unique, but it's also authentic and great! Actually, it seems that the mainstream here is a full-scale detox stay that includes meals and lasts for more than 2 weeks. I only stayed for 3 hours, but I felt very refreshed! By the way, after Shiroveda, the oil soaked into my hair and it was oily for about 5 days (lol) But this is also a memory of the trip! I stayed at a guesthouse called Japanese Mango Tree House, where the owner speaks fluent Japanese. I was also able to make a reservation, which was very helpful!
