Banqiao Lin Benyuan Residence is my favorite place in the hot summer

Banqiao Lin Benyuan Garden (also known as Lin Family Garden) is a place well worth a visit, especially if you are interested in history, architecture, aesthetics or classical gardens. This is one of the best-preserved ancient gardens in Taiwan and was also the residence of the Banqiao Lin family (one of the five major families in Taiwan) during the Qing Dynasty. Here are a few reasons why it’s worth going: Classical garden architecture: The park combines the southern Fujian architectural style with the Jiangnan garden design, with pavilions, towers, ponds, curved bridges, and flowing water, which is very poetic. Historical value: This was the ancestral home of the Lin Benyuan family, a wealthy Taiwanese family during the Qing Dynasty, and represents the lifestyle of Taiwan's upper class at that time. Good place for photography and sightseeing: The garden is full of lush flowers and trees and exquisite buildings, making it an excellent scene for taking photos, and it is full of charm no matter it is day or dusk.
