🌿New York Sky Oasis｜High Line Park High Line Park Walking Diary

#MayGoodPlace2025 #NewYork After eating and drinking and your blood sugar level has risen, the best place to take a walk to digest is the High Line Park! This special sky garden was originally an abandoned railway, but was later converted into a green trail park. It can be accessed as soon as you walk out of Chelsea Market, and it is completely seamless~ ⸻ 🚶♀️Walking and strolling: a healing green corridor in the city The High Line Park is about 2.3 kilometers long, with wooden walkways, flower and grass planting, and art installations along the way. There are also many viewing platforms where you can take photos while walking. It is completely a "walking version of a viewing train"! Some of my favorite highlights along the way: • Large window frame viewing point: It looks like a large horizontal glass window, where you can see the cars whizzing by on 10th Avenue, which looks like a movie scene • Small lounge chair area: Some sections will have wooden lazy chairs, and when the weather is good, many people will lie down directly to bask in the sun, read books, and daydream • Street art installations: Large graffiti, installation art, or interactive exhibitions will appear every few sections, which is very New York's artistic soul • Flower and grass area: Different plants are planted in different seasons, with cherry blossoms in spring and wild flowers in summer~ ⸻ 📷Recommended photo spots: 1. Elevated railway + city background: Retro railway tracks with skyscrapers give a sense of beauty where desolation and modernity coexist 2. 10th Ave viewing window: You can take pictures like a picture frame 3. Take OOTD pictures with art wall background: It looks good no matter how you take them! ⸻ 🗺️Recommended route • It is recommended to start from Gansevoort Street (near Chelsea Market) and walk slowly all the way to Hudson Yards (visit Vessel on the way) • It is recommended to walk in the evening, it will not be too hot and you can watch the sunset over the city, very romantic
