Dream Journey to Lianbaoyeze

[One] Lianbaoyeze is mainly characterized by its geological landscape. The sacred mountain is a rocky mountain with steep granite slopes, covered with snow and ice all year round, and eroded by wind and rain. The upper part of the mountain features various animal and human shapes, such as all beings worshiping Buddha, Guanyin meditating, a boy worshiping Buddha, and a divine doctor collecting herbs. The mountain is a sacred place of worship, with exposed rocks and no vegetation above 4,900 meters, and snow that never melts at the peak. At the foot of the majestic sacred mountain, there are many cirques or glacial erosion pits on the U-shaped valley slope pasture, with a general scale of 0.6×0.8 square kilometers, and a height difference of about 200 meters between the cirque front and the valley bottom. [Two] Myth According to legend, a demon once lived in Lianbaoyeze, who was tyrannical in the village and occupied the lake for a long time. At night, it would appear and eat the villagers' horses and livestock, causing great suffering. When Sakyamuni learned of this, he sent the mountain god of Lianbaoyeze to deal with the demon. The mountain god fought fiercely with the demon by the lake for a hundred rounds. Just as the mountain god was about to kill the demon, the demon dived into the lake and never appeared again. The mountain god waited by the lake for many days, but to no avail. Feeling guilty for failing Sakyamuni's trust, the mountain god transformed into a cow heart stone and vowed to protect the peace of the land forever. Since then, the mountain god of Lianbaoyeze has become a guardian deity, and the sacred mountain of Lianbaoyeze was named after him. Chronicle [Three] According to the Chronicle of the Sacred Mountain of Lianbaoyeze, the sacred mountain was the ancient battlefield of King Gesar's eastern expedition, and the castle is full of King Gesar's miraculous relics, the chasm split by the divine sword, and the hoof prints left by the divine horse.
