[Tochigi Prefecture] Visit the oldest shrine in Nikko

Iwasare Shrine 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 A shrine located on a small hill next to the Shinkyo Bridge in Nikko. It is said to have been founded in 809 by Shodo Shonin, the founder of Nikko, as a sign of gratitude to the gods. It is said to be the oldest shrine on Mount Nikko. It is located in a rather hard-to-find place, so I think very few people visit. It is an unmanned shrine, but they have kindly placed goshuin (stamps) on the grounds.
