"Seventeen Rooms in the Dream". The Zheng's Seventeen Rooms Scenic Area is located in Xiapu Town, a coastal town in Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, close to National Highway 329, 240 kilometers from Shanghai, 170 kilometers from Hangzhou, and 40 kilometers from Zhoushan. The Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, Zhoushan Liandao Bridge, Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, and Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway run through the area, making transportation very convenient. The entire village is designed in a chessboard shape, with buildings connected into courtyards. It combines the grandeur of the northern "courtyard" with the exquisiteness of the southern pavilions. It is the largest and most well-preserved ancient architectural complex from the Ming and Qing dynasties in China.
