This incredibly beautiful village is called Shangzhou Village, Ningbo.

As evening approaches, smoke rises from chimneys, carrying all sorts of pleasant aromas. Elders chat idly on the bridge, while farmers return from their work, herding ducks home along the stream. The whole village is both busy and orderly. Moss-covered steps connect the mountain to the water. My favorite sight is the small green onions growing in ceramic pots on the walls, with cacti coming in second. Old, small windows resemble Buddhist niches, and a wishing coin lies at the bottom of a cistern.
