Dongqian Lake/Small Fishing Village Dongqian Lake is located on the east side of Ningbo City, with green hills to the southeast and plains to the northwest. With a perimeter of 45 kilometers and an area of 22 square kilometers, it is the largest natural freshwater lake in Zhejiang Province. It is now the Dongqian Lake Scenic Area of Ningbo. On the periphery of the lake, there is a small fishing village backed by Taogong Mountain and facing Dongqian Lake, which used to be mainly agricultural and fishing. On the stone steps by the river in the village, you can see women washing clothes and mending fishing nets. Standing in the small square of the village, looking around at the village committee, the village clinic, the small shops, and so on, basking in the sun, far from the hustle and bustle, seeking a quiet place, there is an indescribable sense of leisure.
