Great value and location, highly recommended for sightseeing in Numazu! A review of the Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Numazu

The other day I stayed at the Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Numazu, located very close to Numazu Station in Shizuoka Prefecture. It was very close to the station, reasonably priced, the bed was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet were separate, which is rare for a hotel at this price. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet had local dishes, which made it very satisfying. In this article, I will introduce this hotel and the breakfast. Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Numazu is a business hotel located just a 3-minute walk from the north exit of Numazu Station, a mere 200-300 meters away. Numazu Station is also close to Numazu Port, and has good access to the Izu Peninsula, making it a convenient base for leisure trips as well as business trips. ◆Inside the hotel◆ There was a flat parking lot for 9 cars on the first floor of the hotel, and a mechanical multi-story parking lot (for 30 cars) at the back. In the lobby, there was a coffee server and water server for welcome drinks, and amenities such as a TV, newspapers, magazines, tourist information magazines, and a printer. *If you needed amenities such as a razor, you could pick them up from here. It was raining lightly that day, so there were umbrellas available for rental. There were also two coin laundry machines at the back of the second floor where the lobby was. ◆Guest Room (1 single non-smoking queen-size bed)◆ This time I stayed in a single non-smoking queen-size bed room. To go to the rooms on the third floor or higher, you need to hold your room key when you get on the elevator, so security is also good. Although it is a business hotel in front of the station, the bed was large and made by Simmons in 10 minutes, so I was able to sleep quite comfortably. The desk area was also well-equipped. There was Wi-Fi and wired LAN. There was also a charger with a combined Lightning cable, USB Type-C cable, and microUSB Type-B cable for charging. There was green tea and a kettle under the desk, and free water drinks in the refrigerator. It was also appreciated that the toilet and bath were separate, which is rare for a hotel at this price. The bathtub was also quite spacious, so I was able to relax in it after adding the bath salts I received in the lobby. ◆Breakfast buffet featuring local Numazu ingredients◆ The breakfast at Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Numazu is a buffet-style breakfast where you can eat Numazu's specialty, dried horse mackerel, and other dishes. When I first entered the breakfast area, I was asked whether I wanted the main dish to be "dried horse mackerel" or "scrambled egg." Since I was there, I chose the dried horse mackerel, a specialty of Numazu. The buffet also had other local specialties such as "baby whitebait boiled in a pot" and "sakura shrimp tempura." The drink corner had a wide selection of Shizuoka tea, with five different types of tea leaves available. Take-out paper cups were also provided, so you could drink coffee in your room after your meal. ◆Good value for money and location, recommended for sightseeing in Numazu◆ I stayed at Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Numazu and found it to be a good value for money hotel with clean rooms, a local breakfast, and a location right next to Numazu Station.
