There are fewer places in England the envoke as many emotions on a winter’s walk then Saddleworth Moor. Despite being only a short drive away from the major city of Manchester this area feels like a million miles away as you the barren hills and waterways stretch as far as the eye can see. Some of the best walks here include climbing up to its highest point at Wessenden Head or for something a little more gentle taking a circular route around Dovestones Reservoir. #hiking #moors #countryside
