One-Day Two-Park Adventure at Universal Studios Orlando

✈️ Flights: Spirit Airlines (Boston-Orlando) *Since the previous stop was in Boston, we departed directly from there. 🏨 Hotel: DoubleTree by Hilton - Universal Orlando Entrance. Transportation: The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to the park, and the path is easy to navigate. *The hotel offers a free shuttle, but the schedule was inconvenient, so we didn't use it. 🎫 Tickets: Official APP - Universal Orlando Resort. Express Pass: Same as above. *For a one-day two-park ticket and Express options. Only the park-to-park ticket allows you to ride the Hogwarts Express. Express can also be chosen as unlimited for multiple rides. In mid-November, the park closes at 7 PM. Personally, I think a single-use Express is sufficient for a one-day two-park visit. 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️ My itinerary reference: (Pure ride-focused version) Visit time: Mid-November. *Except for Hagrid's roller coaster, all other rides used Express. ⏰ 8:30 AM, walk from the hotel to the Islands of Adventure park to wait for opening ➡️ Head straight to Hagrid's roller coaster (even small crossbody bags need to be stored in advance, but you can keep your phone with you), queue for about an hour ➡️ Just in time to catch the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang performance ➡️ Flight of the Hippogriff ➡️ Forbidden Journey ➡️ Hogwarts Express to Universal Studios park ➡️ Take photos with the Knight Bus & driver at the station exit ➡️ Diagon Alley to see the dragon breathe fire ➡️ Escape from Gringotts ➡️ Lunch at the Leaky Cauldron ➡️ Explore and take photos in Diagon Alley & Knockturn Alley ➡️ (Continue touring Universal Studios park clockwise) Start with The Simpsons ➡️ Alien Swirling Saucers ➡️ E.T. ➡️ Minions ➡️ Transformers ➡️ Jimmy Fallon ➡️ The Mummy ➡️ Fast & Furious ➡️ Hogwarts Express back to Islands of Adventure park (The train station at Universal Studios is King's Cross, with realistic scenes simulating the movie plot; the station at Islands of Adventure is Hogsmeade, which is more ordinary) ➡️ After exiting, explore Hogsmeade, then tour counterclockwise) Start with King Kong ➡️ Spider-Man ➡️ Teacups ➡️ Relax in the children's playground ➡️ Exit the park around 6:30 PM ➡️ Have dinner at Citywalk outside the park, then stroll around before walking back to the hotel. *This itinerary covers all the activities my mom and I did in one day. We avoided overly thrilling and wet rides due to age. If you want to experience all the rides, following this route with Express is more than enough.
