The first thing to do in the morning is to go to the Tempozan Ferris Wheel at Osaka Port. It is 112.5 meters high. On a clear day, you can see the Ikoma Mountains, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Kansai International Airport, and the Rokko Mountains. Then we went to Osaka Castle, which is one of the three most famous castles in Japan, along with Nagoya Castle and Himeji Castle. The castle tower was rebuilt in 1931 and showcases the style of the ancient capital. The castle tower is open from 9:00 to 17:00. Tickets: 600 yen for adults, free with Osaka Amazing Pass. In the afternoon, we went to the "Umeda Sky Garden". The observation deck consists of three floors: the 39th floor, the 40th floor and the rooftop. The transparent escalator from the 35th to the 39th floor has become a popular photo-taking spot. Opening hours: 9:30-22:30 (last admission 22:00). Tickets: 2,000 yen for adults. Free admission before 15:00 with Osaka Amazing Pass, 30% discount after 15:00. Afterwards, head to Umeda's "HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel". This red Ferris wheel has a diameter of 75 meters and is located on the top floor of HEP FIVE. By jumping on one of the 52 cars, you can get a panoramic view of the streets of Osaka, which presents completely different appearances during the day and at night. Opening hours: 11:00～22:45. Tickets: 800 yen for adults, free with Osaka Amazing Pass. Finally, we headed to Tsutenkaku, an iconic building in Osaka. Although this 100-meter-high steel tower is not considered tall in modern eyes, it plays a vital role in local history. Opening hours: 10:00～20:00.
