The Takayama Hokuriku Pass is valid for five days and covers Takayama, Nagoya, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Toyama, and Osaka. If you’re planning to visit these areas, this pass is highly recommended! It’s super convenient, and you won’t have to wait in long queues. However, for the Thunder Bird train, you’ll need to make a reservation. It’s free, but you’ll need to act quickly as the train comes and goes very fast. The pass also allows you to ride the Shinkansen, but only within the designated route of this pass. :)
