Osaka… A city that is like crispy toast on the outside and soft on the inside 🍞🇯🇵 If I were to compare a trip to Osaka to something, it would be like hugging your favorite doll when the weather is cold and having warm snacks in your hand and the smell of takoyaki floating from the street corner 💕 It really is that kind of feeling… Osaka is not as flashy as Tokyo, not as romantic as Kyoto, but it is a warm, comfortable city with a lovely charm that makes you want to go back and hug it ten more times 🧳✨ Osaka is a city that Japanese people say “people who talk loudly are kind and playful”… and it really is like that! People here smile easily and like to greet (even though I can’t understand every word 😅) But just seeing the small smiles of the uncle at the ramen shop or the staff at the sweets shop who bow gently makes you feel like you have wandered into a cartoon world where everyone is kind unconditionally 🥹💗 ⸻ If I were to talk about the first thing I fell in love with in Osaka, it would be “food” 🍙🍜 Oh my, it’s delicious all the way to the sidewalk! There are so many foods in Osaka that you can't decide. Just walking through Dotonbori is like walking into a foodie's dream. 🍡🍘 Starting with takoyaki, it's like... crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, melts in your mouth, and just the right amount of hot, so hot that you have to blow on it before taking the first bite. (And then you'll be so happy for the rest of your life, huhuhu) 😭🦑 Okay! I have to admit that I've eaten takoyaki at more than 3 shops in one day because each shop has a different secret sauce recipe. Some shops have cheese, some shops have wild green onions, and some shops have thick cod roe. It's so diverse! 🤤💥 And then there's okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza) that has everything in the dough. Soft dough, big pieces, generously poured sauce, and bonito flakes dancing on the plate! It's like watching a show on a plate of rice. 😂 And don't miss the "ramen", a small shop hidden in an alleyway. The ramen here is rich in flavor, the soup is fragrant, and the noodles are chewy and soft. Perfect for a super cold day 🍜❄️ Some shops have long counter seats where you can sit quietly, like a secret between you and your bowl of ramen. It's like getting your energy back in one bowl. 🍥🫶 ⸻ Traveling in Osaka is like playing a game where every station has a surprise. 🎮🚃 Osaka is soooooo easy to get to! The subway is clean, people line up in an orderly fashion, and the train lines are as cute as a crayon box. 🤍 When you get on the train and look out the window, you'll see small houses with gray roofs and distant mountain views. It's like a scene from an anime I watched as a kid. 🏡🌄 Some stations have background music (such as birds chirping or short songs when a train is about to arrive), which adds to the atmosphere and makes the city look especially cute. 🎵🎶 There are also many types of passes to choose from. For those who like to travel to many places, I recommend the Osaka Amazing Pass. It's worth it. You can get on and off as much as you want. Plus free admission to many places 💳✨ ⸻ A must-see landmark is “Osaka Castle” 🏯🌸 Even though it is a modern city, Osaka still retains its classic style well. Osaka Castle is like a fairytale building. There is a bridge. There are gardens around it. If you go during the cherry blossom season, you will be so thrilled. The pink trees are in full bloom like being in a magical world. 🌸🩷 We can walk around the castle for free or go inside to see the museum. There are antiques, samurai armor, and interesting historical stories. Around the castle, there are sweet shops, tea shops, and cute uncles and aunties who set up small shops on the side of the road. Try buying hot green tea and sit under the trees. Watch the birds fly by and feel the whole world slow down in the cutest way. 🍵🕊️ ⸻ If you like light, color, and sound, don't miss “Universal Studios” 🎢🎇 USJ is the ultimate fun! Whether it's the Harry Potter zone with the huge Hogwarts Castle that makes your eyes widen 🤩 Or the Mario zone that's so cute you'll almost scream, both the characters and the decorations, it's like you're actually walking in the game 🍄❤️ And there's a thrilling ride that lets you scream & take a selfie at the same time, haha There are so many cute snacks and products for sale, like Mario-shaped bread Minion cookies and colorful rainbow water. Content creators need to bring their memory cards because you'll never get tired of taking pictures! 📸🌈 ⸻ Shopping is also top-notch! 🛍️👛 Osaka has so many places to shop, whether it's the Shinsaibashi area where you can walk until you're tired but still don't want to go back because there are shops selling clothes, shoes, cosmetics souvenirs, sweet shops, and cafes, there's everything~ Or go to Tenjinbashi-suji, a kilometer-long shopping street You can walk until you forget you're hungry but you still haven't finished your destination, lol There are also so many shops selling cute souvenirs, such as cute socks Japanese sweet boxes that are packaged so cute you won't dare to open them and eat them Or even a grilled squid keychain, just seeing it makes me think of takoyaki 😂🐙 ⸻ In conclusion… Osaka is a very lovely and heartwarming city 💗🌟 It’s not just a tourist city, but it’s a city with life, emotion, and its own charm.
