National Patriots and Veterans Affairs-designated cemetery facility, UN Forces First Battle Memorial Hall

This is a place to commemorate those who died fighting for peace in a foreign land far away from their loved ones. The first unit to be dispatched as a UN force during the Korean War was the Smith Special Mission Unit. They were the first to engage in combat with the North Korean army at Osan Jukmiryeong, and were in such an urgent situation that the withdrawal order was not properly delivered. As a result, the damage was enormous. We will not forget their dedication and sacrifice to protect Korea's freedom and peace. #Exhibition
