During the tour, you will hear how groups such as Jews, Roma, homosexuals, and Polish political prisoners were marked, imprisoned, and eventually died. Birkenau is even larger and more desolate. The ruins at the end of the railway and the remains of the collapsed gas chamber silently accuse the injustice of history. Standing there, the silence around is chilling, but it is also the deepest mourning for the victims. 🕯 This is not just history, but also a wake-up call.
